Answer honestly …
Are you afraid to be yourself?
To let people into your madness?
To let people see the REAL you?
Is there a part of you that you’re hiding?
If you’re like me (and if you’re here, I’m sure you are) you were the black sheep. You were sometimes called out for being different, for letting your crazy out.
And either you thrived in it, or it broke you a little bit.
It made you believe that being full you was wrong.
For most people trying so hard to fit in (think back to high school when all you wanted to do was fit in and get invited to the parties, which I never was by the way), we hide our true self away.
We become afraid to let it all out, for fear of being judged or not liked.
But in today’s world, you NEED to let it out. You NEED to let people see your madness.
How else are you going to stand out online?
It’s the bold and crazy ones that get attention.
And it doesn’t have to be full on, wtf did she just do, kind of crazy.
It just has to be authentic and real and you kind of crazy.
Here’s what I believe: God created me the way I am for a reason.
Maybe I was too much for some people in my life. But that was their issues, not mine. I was made to be just as I am. No changes, no edits, no tweaks necessary.
If you’ve been holding back for fear of being judged, for fear of what people might say or think … first of all, I know those fears so well.
I literally prayed every night that I didn’t do anything stupid during the day that made someone not like me. Like a prayer could turn back time, but anyway. That’s how deep my fear of being judged went.
But I also know that holding back isn’t doing any of us any favors.
There are people out there who will resonate with your madness. Who are waiting for you to unleashed your brand of crazy because they are secretly just as bat shit crazy and want someone that is just like them to step up.
Stop being afraid. Stop holding back.
Stop hiding the true you from the world that so obviously needs you.
Show up. Be unapologetic. Be YOU.
