When you’re feeling up, go with it. When you’re not, give yourself some grace.

Seems easy enough, right?

But as entrepreneurs, we have this tendency to want to hustle. To do it all. To work work work. To push past the tired and keep going because shit, everything relies on the hustle and the discipline so we’d better keep working and write one last post or share one last image or check those groups one last time before we finally hit the bed late at night.

But the reality is, there are ups and downs to everything. The moon waxes and wanes. Ebbs and flows. The waves go in and out. Mountains have peaks and valleys. Humans have times of energetic ups and downs.

We are not meant to stay in hustle mode all the time.

That’s not energetically possible. Or physically or mentally.

You may see other entrepreneurs act like they’re always on, but Imma tell you right now, either they’re pushing through their valleys to get to their next peak and ignoring what their body and soul is telling them…. or they’re faking it.

And I’m willing to bet they’re trying to hold it together so they don’t crash and burn.

Okay. Maybe I’m being a bit dramatic.

Maybe not.

The point?

Go with your the flow. Your flow.

You don’t have to push through the days you feel like shit or the days your body is telling you to rest.

Look. There are going to be some days where you feel on top of the world, like you’re killing it, like you go this.

Then there will be days where you doubt yourself and your momentum.

Go with your flow.

When you’re feeling feelings, allow yourself to actually feel those feelings. Ya feel me?

It’s your self telling you to stop, take a breath and listen. Listen to what’s coming up and address it. Don’t push through and ignore it.

Trust me, if you ignore it, it will come back, with a vengeance. The same fears and doubts will keep coming back until you address them.

Go with your flow.

Use your high energy days to hustle.

Use the lower energy days to work on you.

It’s not being lazy or ignoring your business.

Working on you IS ESSENTIAL to your business. It’s just as important, if not more so, than the actual marketing work.

So go with your flow.

Give yourself permission to have off days and rest days and self care days.

Let yourself recharge while you take care of your mind and rest your soul.

Then when you’re back on the upswing, get it and hustle like a MF.
